After appearing on the Jane Pauley Show in January of 2005, Bruce Leininger was contacted by producers Karen Goodman and Kirk Simon of the HBO Special "Smashed" - Toxic Tales of Teens and Alcohol. They asked for input for their new book "Safe Road Home". The book was published in 2005 by Sterling Publishing Co., Inc. New York.

Bruce was instrumental in the addition of the articles concerning "Time and Space", "Fatal Food", "Cellular Dangers", "Beware of the Bag", and "Advice to Parents -The Bottom Line".
